
Panoramica
Nove giurie, che rappresentano una vasta sezione trasversale di eccellenza nelle varie discipline, sono nominate annualmente per giudicare il pool di candidati. Le giurie si riuniranno da gennaio a marzo e i finalisti dovranno presentarsi all’ufficio dell’Academy di New York per le interviste. I vincitori sono approvati dal Board of Trustees dell'Academy e annunciati a metà aprile.
Il criterio principale dei giurati è l’eccellenza. Prenderanno in considerazione la qualità della candidatura di un candidato e selezioneranno i candidati che non sono solo eccezionali nei rispettivi campi, ma anche in un momento della loro carriera in cui il Premio Roma sarà probabilmente cruciale per la loro crescita e sviluppo futuri.
